1994 Ford 5.8 Firing Order – It’s important to know which lender (or cylinder Top) is primary to help determine a beginning point for firing order or simply to switch the proper component, like an Oxygen sensor, gas injector or ignition coil.
Previously everything that was required to determine which lender or cylinder brain is primary was to determine which cylinder head is located the farthest forward. The one which is the most ahead (nearest to the top of your engine) is the number one cylinder which area is lender 1.
But a majority of motors right now have cylinder heads which are situated consistently, which makes it tougher to find out which is banking institution number 1 and that is bank number two. A couple of typical reasons we must know this, as an example would be to determine Oxygen sensor to change when you are interested in B1 S1 (Lender One Sensing unit One), or maybe you’re attempting to find an ignition coil to examine for the P0301 (#1 cylinder misfire recorded) misfire code.
